About The Course
A full package course that includes management of persistent pelvic pain conditions in people with penises! From interviewing, assessment, treatment and home care, this course will give participants more confidence in navigating interventions, and treatment plans with this population. This 2 day course is intended to create a safe space for therapists to explore challenging topics and over come barriers professionals may face with managing this population.

Understand the fundamental anatomy and physiology in order to work with the male pelvis

Understand the current evidence and treatment for the Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome (Chronic Nonbacterial Prostatitis)

Navigating care within the scope of a Massage Therapist

Utilizing the biopsychosocial model from the initial encounter and in treatment

Develop self management programs in order to promote self management and self efficacy

Gain more confidence in navigating themes of sexual health

Draping protocols with penis having populations

Resources on sexual boundary setting and navigating sexual ambiguous situations to promote safe practice for patient and for clinicians.
